What is Wyoming Birth Certificate?

Birth and death records are available from the state from July 1909 to present. Marriage and divorce records from May 1941 to present. Birth records are considered public records 100 years after their filing date. Death, marriage and divorce records become public record 50 years after their filing date. Upon birth, the doctor or any authorized medical staff files a report with the Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO) of the city or municipality where the birth occurred. The birth certificate is then endorsed by the LCRO to the PSA for certification and printing on PSA’s security paper.
