What is New York Pay Child Support?
Pay your child support online and make sure your child is getting financial support from both parents. Income-withholding, or having money taken directly out of a paycheck, accounts for more than 70% of all child support collected in New York State. Self-employed or unemployed parents have the option to make payments online or by mail.Withholding by employers accounts for more than 70% of child support collected—more than $1 billion dollars each year. Almost 1,000,000 children receive child support services through New York State.

How can I pay my child support?
Online with a bank account or a credit/debit card By check or money order.
Do I use my NY.Gov ID account to make an online payment?
**No. Online payments are made through ExpertPay[dot] com and E-ChildsPay.com, see below.
**Your NY.Gov ID account provides you information only, like your arrears balance, payment history and customized mail payment coupons.
How long will it take for my payment to go through?
Please allow up to seven days for the State to receive your payment and update the information on your NY[dot] Gov ID account.
What if I can’t pay or afford my child support?
**If your pay is cut or other factors make it harder for you to pay your child support, you should immediately file a petition for modification with the court.
**If you lose or get a new job, contact your local child support office immediately.
If I don’t pay, what should I do?
**If you don’t pay your child support on time, your arrears will start to add up.
**The child support enforcement agency keeps track of the money you owe and will take steps to collect that money.
**You can check your arrears or child support account balance by logging into your NY [dot] Gov account.
How do I get a PIN number?
** Call the Child Support Helpline at 1-888-208-4485 (TTY 1-866-875-9975) to request a PIN.
** You will need your social security number and child support account number, which is mailed to you following your court appearance.
** Your PIN will be mailed within 5-7 business days – it cannot be given over the phone.
