Position Overview :
Raymour & Flanigan’s IT Operations Team is looking for someone who is a positive influence with the ability to manage complex projects with internal and external resources to continue the team’s role of excellence. This position primarily focuses on IT components of construction projects, new builds, and renovation projects, but occasionally works on Systems projects such including hardware upgrades, installation, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
** Responsible for providing coordination, communication, oversight and support for building and maintenance of the telecommunications and information management infrastructure, including planning, design, procurement, construction inspection and reporting
** Lead and participate in the conceptual phases of identifying and solving business problems and initiatives
** Ability to make appropriate project-related decisions, and to recognize when items should be escalated to leadership.
** Provide up-to-date information to ensure all relevant stakeholders are kept informed on progress.
** Manage service providers/vendors as needed within IT infrastructure
** Work with the business to help define and document business requirements
** Maintains quality service by enforcing best practices and customer service standards and recommending improvements.
** Identify/solve problematic processes and ensure health/performance of areas of responsibilities
** Work with teams to optimize tasks and streamline processes
** Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management.
Required Skills and Experience
** Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network/Telco Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required
** 3+ years of network/telco and/or Infrastructure experience
** Enterprise Infrastructure project management and tools
** Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and ITIL framework
** Hands-on experience with computer network/datacenters and ISP circuit installation
** Ability to help create and map business needs/application requirements to technical solutions
** Exceptional analytical and communication skills
** Excellent documentation/presentation skills
** Must be a team player and be able to communicate well with the IT team and stakeholders
Helpful Skills and Experience
** Telco/ISP/Networking technology and terminology
** Working knowledge of networking
** SDWAN/WAN, MPLS, VoIP, Wi-Fi
** ITIL Framework
