VP, Chief Information Security Officer

Skills/Experience:
** 12+ years of experience; 5+ years of experience at CISO level in leading security organizations in high growth environment
** Experience working in healthcare or health-tech, with deep understanding of the regulatory and compliance frameworks including HITRUST
** Experience with securing highly dynamic cloud environments (AWS or Azure)
** An ability to cultivate and build collaborative working relationships with a broad range of enterprise stakeholders
** A well-developed understanding of and appreciation for business needs and a commitment to leading the information security team in delivering high-quality, prompt, and efficient service to the business
** Strong decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate one
** An ability to effectively influence others to modify their opinions, plans, or behaviors
** An ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in an easily-understood, authoritative, and actionable manner
** Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
** A BA/BS Degree is required
** A CISSP or CISM certification is desirable

Responsibilities:
** Defines enterprise security strategy and oversees the development of technology architecture, and solution implementations to support this strategy
** Protection of the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of customer data and building/maintaining customer trust
** Partner with IT, Product/engineering, operations, compliance, and privacy to build and maintain a security-aware culture across the organization
** Provide thought leadership on modern security operations and be an industry leader in creating trust through security
** Define, measure, and report on infosec program KPIs that illustrate program maturity to senior leadership
** Oversee information security operations, including threat monitoring and response efforts
** Retain and recruit top talent
** Collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, and Privacy to surface information security risks and develop mitigation strategies, solutions, and policies
** Collaborate with IT Infrastructure Ops, Product Development, and other technical and business functional leaders to implement changes and best practices to continuously improve the security posture of the enterprise
** Coordinates audit and regulatory inquiries and external vendor activities to help represent the company from an information security, recovery, and technology risk perspective
** Oversees security-related vendor relationships, product selection, and negotiation of high-level contracts to provide services and capabilities for the protection of organization assets globally
