** Transcripts and scores may be sent via email, mail, or electronic service.

** The admissions team will communicate updates, status changes, and enrollment decisions via the applicant portal (link to applicant portal) and to the email that was provided on the admissions application.

Application Timeline
** Fall 2025 application opens = September 3
** First round of enrollment decisions = Week of October 28
** Enrollment decisions will follow on a weekly basis after November 4.
** Fall 2025 application will close June 30, 2025.
** Please note, all required items and additional steps (should they be requested) should be completed by the close of June 30 for full consideration.
Application Requirements
Proof of Residency :
Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology requires all applicants to be residents of Pennsylvania, apart from active duty/veterans and their families. We’ve outlined who qualifies to apply below:
PA Resident: an individual that has resided in the state of Pennsylvania for at least one (1) year. An appeal process is available for applicants that have resided in Pennsylvania for less than 1 year.
Activity Duty*: full time employment with the U.S. military force. Proof of employment is required (active military ID, etc.).
Veteran*: former member of the Armed Forces of the United States (Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, and Navy) who served on active duty and was discharged under conditions which were other than dishonorable. DD214 member 4 copy is required.
*Family– immediate family unit, including children/stepchildren, and spouses are also able to attend Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology.
High School Transcript or GED :
** All students must possess a high school diploma or GED before beginning classes. Submit an official high school transcript or proof of a GED.
** Official transcripts are defined as those sent directly from the high school to the Admissions Office. The Admissions team will not accept transcripts submitted by a student or a parent/guardian.
** For those with high school credentials from outside of the United States, we would request translated documentation. Please find more information on our policy of Credit Evaluation from Foreign Educational Institutions.
